Re: Progress on DKW 1937 sport

It is happily stored away in the same state as in the last pics. I will be either bringing it up here to Darwin to finish it off, or waiting until I retire .....4 years time.... to finish it.

Re: Timing light (with advance readout) buy from outside USA

Just a note on timing lights with variable advance/readouts.... About 3 years ago I gathered together about 15 of these lights from all the sections around the TAFE college where I worked. they were all brands, none of them really cheapish, from snap-on down. I was doing an exercise with the motorsp...

Re: rz250 top end wanted

Yep I have got 2 or three of them, a couple of different models....which type were you looking for, and do you want power valves, reed blocks, inlet manifolds etc and all the bits as well?
I have some heads as well, let me know the model you want and I can get back with bore sizes etc.

Re: RZ,'87 variable damper fork rechrome? Where?Who? in NSW

Best place in Aust......by far the best quality and good pricing is: Hard Chroming Services in Adelaide. (google) They hard chrome Industrial rams for heavy equipment so their sizing is perfect...unlike others. They also do shock linkage bushes and axles etc. I have been using them since 1988 and ha...

Re: MVX

Rear cylinder has a 25mm? solid piston pin to attempt to balance the motor somewhat. You would not think that could cause any problems would you? Rates about as good a design as the first VF750S with crumbling cam lobes and cam chain tensioners that would not work even though they had 3 redes...
