Re: Is there anybody out there?

Still have my Suzi GT500 so haven't left the smoker-world, (though my back is giving me curry so can't ride at the mo').

Re: Is there anybody out there?

Goodonya Jon. Since I sold my RZ I only drop in occasionally, but still retain the interest.

Re: Interesting Graphics.......

Hmmm, looks nice. I know of a pretty good RZ250 going if anyone's interested... an awful lot cheaper!

Is there anybody out there?

Seems very quiet here nowadays... It used to be pretty active, but not so recently.
Maybe everyone's moved over to some 'Fastbuck' social media site, I bet that's what it is.
Shame.

Too much self-promotion for my liking.

Re: WTB Mirrors, (have swaps)

Just having a Laugh mate, - I have a hip that's suffering from too many years kicking over Velocettes and Desmo Ducatis!

WTB Mirrors, (have swaps)

I'm looking for Mirrors for my good mate Jacko's RZ (R model I think) that he's bringing back to life. The mirrors fit through the fairing, know the ones? Hopefully we can get the rubbers as well. The mirror glass is not so much a problem, we can replace that if broken. He's got it running nicely, a...

Re: RZ, very nice original

You're right mate, BUT... The best thing is about a bike you've 'done' yourself and run for a fair while is that you know just what is right with it and what's wrong with it (if anything). Sometimes I think I'm always buying other people's crap, sweating blood fixing them, and then selling goodies! ...

Re: RZ250 what mainjet you running?

Very good detail Jon thanks. I guess I'd better do plug chops and have maybe a pair of (say) 190s to try... just a bit richer. But first I thought I'd better just do a test running on Prime pos -just in case it's a lazy diaphragm that's not allowing enough fuel flow when pulling at high rpm. (Though...

Re: RZ250 what mainjet you running?

Interesting, I wouldn't mind knowing for sure what the original mj was, I read different opinions. Yes everything is adjusted and moving freely. I wonder if a 185 would make enough difference (over a 180) Jon, maybe it's worth a try. But the difference between a 155 and a 180 is much more. I wonder ...

RZ250 what mainjet you running?

Just wondering what mainjet RZ250 owners are running. I have the 180mj* in and it seems to be a little lean at around 7000-7500 rpm, pulls sweet and hard up until then, but then fades a bit up there. (Motor is nice and fresh), I know a plug chop is required but... any thoughts? *I think I read that ...

Re: Powervalve flutter

Or it could possibly be electrical interference of some sort? That can make servos flutter.
