Yes I can confirm the tanks listed from India on ebay for the RZ 1983 dont fit they are undersized , find genuine & repair put liner in only way out as we speak. Sorry to tell you. Costly but only way to move forward.

Hi , I am after a usable tank to get my bike RZ250 back on the road , its still registered but need a tank , paint & dents no problem just no leaks would be very much appreciated , big ask I know.
