Re: Ebay x 2 x LC's
Yep it's a nice one.
Re: New TZR
Yes unfortunately.
Re: New TZR
Yes as noted elsware on this forum the 3xv is back on ebay.
No problems with the bike. Just looking after a family on 1 wage can be a bit tight.
After spending almost 5grand on dental work in the last 2 months something had to go.

New TZR
http://i1381.photobucket.com/albums/ah208/Adam196814/image.jpg1_zpsbhlmtzzo.jpg Hi all, I recently picked up a tasty new toy. It's a low mileage 3xv. It looks like it's spent most of its life sitting around being admired. The carbs needed a clean as it would not start, but after an evening with the...

http://i1381.photobucket.com/albums/ah208/Adam196814/imagejpg2_zps5ed71041.jpg I have been busy with tidying the Tzr. The seat cowling was held together with dodgy brackets. I used acetone to mount 4 new brackets. http://i1381.photobucket.com/albums/ah208/Adam196814/imagejpg3_zps72d1ed09.jpg http:/...

Re: tzr Tidy up,
Sounds good, I can't wait to see the finished bike.
Re: TZR resto
Hi Gman,
The cylinders were honed by the previous owner.
I don't think the local constabulary would have seen the funny side of it if they caught me hooning down the street on the mount franklin bullet. That would be so wrong for so many reasons.

Re: TZR resto
Hi Graham, I picked up the manifolds from ebay a lucky find. I will have to remember to look for tdr and tzr when searching for parts. http://i1381.photobucket.com/albums/ah208/Adam196814/imagejpg2_zpse7db198f.jpg Now I know the bike is a runner I have started to strip her down to tidy up the parts....
Re: TZR resto
The wife was in hospital today getting a plate put into her broken wrist.
I guess she had been too extreme.
Well I got the little one to sleep and started working on the bike.
Motor is in and she runs, happy days.

Re: tzr Tidy up,
Looks like you are making great progress.
Have you thought about cleaning the pipes while you have them off the bike?
I went the caustic soda path last time and it shifted a lot of muck.
Also did you look at the powervalve while you had the engine out?
I worked on mine today and it was in bad shape.
