Re: RG250 - Opnions Please
crap, really hard to find that in Adelaide - I'll start looking, very helpful Mr Rich Practical Sportsbikes is a must have mag for any two stroke fanatic I reckon, by far the best mag out there and for some time too. Best deal is to subscribe direct through the UK distributor - works out about $8-$...

That is bloody beautiful! Nice work. Can I swing by and drop off a few of my bikes for you to lavish some attention on?

Re: Couple of island classic photos
It's a fabulous weekend mate, the smell, the atmosphere, old and young banging old bikes around like no tomorrow. What more do we need? Whereabouts are you? I used to ride from central qld for the classic, supers etc Just in Melbourne mate, I wanted to head down there for the weekend but circumstan...

Re: Couple of island classic photos
Cheers Thommo! Seeing pics of my bikes almost makes the god awful boring ride down to the Island worth it! Actually, seeing the super-cool classics racing round the track might have done that!

Re: Couple of island classic photos
Nice pics. I like the one of the RZ350 - 3rd one down - looks like mine... oh wait, it is!
As soon as we stopped and parked a few people came up to chat and one them asked if I wanted to sell it. Everyone seems to have owned a RD / RZ in their past!

Re: RZ500
How about the Repsol Honda Cbr1000rr's ? or the last model gsxr750's when they stop making them? It's a great debate trying to pick the future classics I reckon. There's enough argument out there for current second hand bikes, but trying to pick and brand new one, that's hard. One of the issues of ...
Re: RZ500
I thought the GPz900r would become a collectors bike, show's what my predictions are like :-/ That's a strange one I reckon. They are sort after and collectable for some, but haven't really taken off. They were universally praised on release and were great bikes at the time, not to mention fast, so...

Photos of two strokes at Island Classic
Taken on the phone so not the greatest but thought I'd share. Certainly lots of two strokes being thrashed out there - the smell of synthetic two stroke oil while all the TZ's were warming up in the pits brought a smile to face! http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/ww210/richkermit/F95EE78E-8B2A-4AA3-...
Re: RZ500
Wow, that's a rare find for sure and yep no one's going to buy that to ride it - it will never ever be started, quite bizzare when you stop and think about it. These bikes weren't even that popular and I'm sure at one stage you could hardly give them away - and now? Wish it was easy to predict what ...

Re: RG250 - Opnions Please
Mine's a single disc up front, can anyone confirm if the twin disc was a Jap market thing, or were there twin discs mixed in there somehow? Seen twin discs from bikes in UK and Oz, but never known if it was coz they were Jap market imports or not. Yep, twin discs were only available on the JDM bike...
