Hello Gents, cap off , 1 Hour job after night shift , tank is fine, but my patience was wearing thin by the end . There is a fair amount of loose rust inside . will need to get a camera and have a look in there . (bugger) Then its time to repair and seal the inside .

Oh I almost forgot , Talking to my brother who is 2 hours drive from home , trying to organize a meeting with an old farmer he knows . he has 2x rd250lc's . Thanks Jon, I was in Sydney last weekend , dropped in and saw Paul (grunt33) Obtained a rear tail light complete and 350lc master cylinder and calipers . they need a little bit of work , but a good start. Paul was great and has some nice rides there . I also have been on norbos site , Pity we don't ...

Thanks Jon , Ive just been into my photobucket account but cant find the img link you talk about . So it sounds like you must have seen all the pics on my account , The clocks are not that good , no trip knob ,the speedo side is fixed up with silastic and there is a crack where the brake is up again...

Yes James , that is the company . They seem good to deal with so far very helpful . Thanks mark , my frame number is 5e1 000010 ,but the thing is the frame has no sign of the rivets , but something has been glued there . I will take you up on the offer . They did say all they need is a clear picture...

HI GUY'S , I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH A COMPANY THAT MAKES COMPLIANCE TAGS FOR MOST MOTORCYCLES, BUT NOT FOR THE RD LC SERIES . Looks good to me , Just wondering if anyone in oz could or do this ? Could be another option with the rd250lc iam about to restore . Instead of the big bore kit . Great for a sleeper , especially if you leave the 250 plaques on the outside , Greg
