Re: New member

Hi Peter, plenty of helpful folk on here, so be sure to ask any questions you need to. There is a fair bit of work to upgrading a 250 to 350 spec, so be sure to research the swap thoroughly.

Re: New Member

There seem to be a fair few 2T folks over your way Mark, so welcome to this forum. Good to hear that another LC will be returning to the road, just renewed the historic rego on my 350 yesterday as it happens. Be sure to ask any questions you need to, as there are plenty of knowledgeable folks on here.

Re: New member, Suzuki GT550

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the slow reply but a hectic work schedule in the lead up to Xmas has meant I haven’t been surfing forums for a few weeks. The 550 has always been my favourite GT model and I very nearly bought a Maui Blue B model in 1980 before being seduced by a very nice S3A inst...

Re: RZ250 information

+1 for replacing the crank seals at the very least if it has been stood for so long, which is a shame if it hasn’t been run since the previous rebuild but it’s a risk if you don’t. Paint wise I would advocate for a standard paint job personally, as that will always result in a more desirable (thus v...

Re: Looking for some LC parts

Do you still need the switchgear and rad we spoke about before Jon?

I might be able to drop the switchgear off tomorrow on my way back from Canberra if you are around?

Re: Looking for some LC parts

I will need to dig the radiators out of the lockup but the switchgear should be in my spares box which is easier to get to. I should be down your way sometime next week, so will text you to arrange swinging by.

Re: RD400E Yellow Paint Code

The finished bike could be some way off yet Jon, as I am in the process of finishing an XJ650 at the moment, which will be followed by a RD400F, and the first RD400E (white and red), so it’ll be a while before I get to it. I just wanted to get the tins done ahead of time and while I have access to t...
