Re: Best fuel choice

There is no advantage using premium on a standard (read low compression ratio) motor. If the motor is designed for 95 or 98 then you should use it. There is a lot of marketing around 95 and 98 because the margins are better. All grades are blended from similar blend stocks. Don’t use E10 however as ...

Re: Motobatt batteries

I’ve had a MB5.5U in a 350LC for a few months now. Still fairly new but holds a charge between uses which have been up to 1 month lately (renovating). Its better than the lead acid that was in it previously, which was not old and no overflow to spew acid.

Re: Hydraulic Clutchs

My last 2 bikes had hydraulic clutches and they were a pleasure to use. My LC is stock so not an option but for a non standard bike probably worth a try.

Clearly it has the revised (correct) cylinders. Don’t know how I saw a 0. Better get stronger glasses. 8O

Re: 350LC on ebay

Yes that’s the one. I said stamped but I meant raised characters. Why would it have a raised 0 instead of 1 as on latter cylinders?

350LC on ebay

Bike listed on eBay. Seller claims best unrestored you will find. There is a couple of bits that aren’t original but the cylinders are stamped 4L0 with an 0. Look like they may of been painted. The bike is an 82. Any ideas why they would not be stamped 1?

Re: RDLC Fuel Tanks

Maybe the painted one is a left over from the Yamaha made tanks that were available earlier in the year. If so and you like the colour, have to be worth some consideration.
