Re: Registration of Hybreds NSW

K-her-rist, making it a bit too bloody hard for yourself, aint ya, O-E? Who's to know, 'cept you, & if you do a 1/2 arsed job, you carry the can, anyhow.. & 2-strokes are your actual larrikin machines, in case you aint heard.. You can get a Honda CB 200 - if you want to join the 'wowser brig...

Kidney, you might spare one gman, since they come as a pair, but your liver is one mandatory organ..
P.M. me, & we'll see about organising a catch up,..
..so's you can take a "slighty abused" Yamasaki (or is it Kawaha? ) 750/3 for a fang..

Re: Redeemable?

Hey, O-E, 'shit'll buff out'..
Got skills? No?
Find someone who has, maybe a retired panel-beater, who'll do it for you..
Chuck a lick of lead in 'er..

I'd save it.
IMO, they are too bloody pricey to casually buy in repro-form..

Want a Yamaha 2T Triple?

Oddly Yamaha, alone of all the 'big 4' Nippon bike makers, never sold a 2T triple road bike.. Yamaha did build prototype road bike triples, & race bike triples, plus selling snow/water craft triples.. This will give you an idea what we've missed out on www.hartmaninc.com/engine.html Anyone game ...

Re: MVX

Why Honda worried about the vibes an ~82cc piston makes - is bizarre..
I wonder if anyone has rebuilt an MVX crank with identical ( all lighter-type ) conrods ?

Re: 83 rz350 track bike build

Nah, sorry, not on me, BRG - I am not much on photo stuff, but see the site below:

www.deejay51.com/coca_cola_800_gallery.htm

Scroll down to the Willing ex-Superbike Championship H2 slotted into his TZ chassis.
The H2 mill fits where the Yamaha does, basically - with a few easy nips 'n' tucks..

Re: 83 rz350 track bike build

Well gman, if you really wanted to 'punch it' - (as the Xbox Halo crew put it).. ..the Kawasaki H2 750/3 mill will slot fairly easily into an RD/RZ Yamaha chassis, & to real good effect.. (yes, I've done it.. & I have one -as a current road ride.) I can get you started, engine-wise, I'm not ...

Re: Paintin Exhaust Pipes.

The 'ceramic' VHT spray can in black option works well, I have found ( given properly clean prep), & provides a good satin-sheen finish that looks like a used original Yamaha finish, for a resto. Otherwise, cheaper BBQ/pot-belly stove paint works fine, if a heat-proof, anti-rust black - is what ...

Having watched a tidy running example of this 2T triple going well the other day, I'd thought.. ..that some may find this local re-appraisal of the 'dreaded' MVX 250F.. to be of interest.. http://www.mcnews.com.au/honda-mvx250f-with-phil-hall/ Can anyone recall an earlier Honda 2T road bike? Modern Easy H.P. Gain Tune Specs For H2 750/3.

Want to increase your stock H2 by ~25-30 rwhp ( to ~85-90 )with simple, fairly inexpensive bolt-ons?

Or build a ~120lb/120hp H2 mill - for your hi-tech modern chassis or TZ-classic, hybrid bike..
..with some easily done, non-peaky tuning?
