Re: RDLC instrument dial screws

I expect they'd be ISO metric/Nippon Standard screws..
Jon, why not go to the nearest pick-a-part, & find some..

Re: Whatcha Reckon........

White really shows how well the original LC body-style works.. Those 'clunky' looking after-market items might be 'disguised' by an angular paint scheme though.. BRG, start photo-shopping! As for the weirdo-beardo job, where's the bloody exhaust wrap tape? That'll cost him a least a grand off his as...

Re: RZ350 Hybrid

Or, you could contact Marlboro..
& offer to do a 'tribute' - paint scheme..
..for a 'sponsorship' deal in $..
..to turn up at shows..

Re: Yamaha making RDLC tanks

They look pretty good in red. Orange Yellow Green Etc! One of those designs that can carry off many colour schemes. I agree, BRG - park one next to a Norton Commando roadster, & you can see the similarities in shapes & line, a given since the LC was styled in Europe by the same team of Brit...

Re: Rz rear shock upgrade.

Might be.. worth getting an opinion/quote.. on a rebuild..

The LC 'De Carbon' gas-damper is of quality enough to be worth doing..
.. at least, that's what I've found..

Re: The Old Road........

To be sure, those bloody 'navvies' had to sweat some back in the day.. Many of those big roading 'projects' were 'make work' for unemployed ex-WW I 'diggers', such as the Great Ocean Road in Vic, & the Nurburgring/Autobahnen in Germany... These days of course, the only reason one of those 'road ...

Re: Mikuni choke problem

TR, you do know that the Mikuni 'choke' is not actually a 'choke' as such, it is an extra fuel feed circuit... ..so while needed for cold starting, once the bike is moving, it shouldn't be left on, as some 4T's require.. You could swap the screw-in plunger 'choke' unit - from another compatible carb...

Re: Rg250 Chambers on Rz250

Not sure what difference pipe volume and length would make between a 250 and 350 motor... I have slung a set of late ( 'bean can' end-type) stock RZ 250 pipes on my commuter `85 RZ350 F1* , - after it spat out the remnants of a broken baffle from its 'cigar' pipes, & back to back performance-wi...

Re: I'm still buzzing

Bummer hybrid, so what broke?

& matty, if you couldn't gap a hog-style cruiser, a fat greaser Guzzi, on your well up-specced RZ,
then I guess the Guzzi rider is a real hot-shot.. so, did you swap bikes, & try again?

Re: Husky tx300 fouling plugs every two hours

B, the 2017 Husky/KTM 2Ts changed to Mikuni TM carbs, I'd suggest checking a dedicated site on the 2T KTM/Husky, & seeing if your plug issue is a common problem & what the usual fix is.. In general, with today's powerful ignition, such fouling problems are a either a carb tune/premix issue, ...

Re: Video of oil issue. Ds7

Clear pipe lets in bubbles?

Oh, righto, that'll be why I can't bleed brakes firmly using clear...
Ah, wait on.. yes, I can..

( & nor have I had any problem using them as oil feed lines, except for age hardening, which happens to 'em all, anyhow..)
