Re: Hello from Melbourne

The RG are good little jiggers, you should have hours of fun in the shed and on the Black Spur road. Good luck, and welcome to the insanity and excitement of the 2T world.

To Inject or Not to Inject.....

........that is the question. To Kattie tested back to back - not much in it but the promise is more for the injection's future. Whatcha reckon? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZZ3VquplhI (I like restrictions to get the Kattie through euro 4 - I wonder how many of those will remain in the cauldron ...

Re: Typo???

Who's to know. It would be easier to falsify than a wheel, tank and host of other things.

We might have a new cottage industry here :)

Re: Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder

Maybe 7/10 I'm not a big fan of the Streetfighter style. I like the blue frame and fork legs, the yellow highlights. The seat tail piece is wrong and the mismatched decals make it more wrong. Custom resto are always hard to sell and even hard to 'get your money back'. But it is still a case of buyer...

Re: selling parts on ebay - setting reserve?

Bloody hell, thats a nasty set of gouging practices right there. Welcome to the modern world - although price gouging is nothing new in capitalism - you should read what the 'entitled' upper class did to the poor old Poms in the 19th century. The poor old Poms were reduced to committing crime just ...

Re: selling parts on ebay - setting reserve?

I hate reserves with a passion - can't see the reasoning for using them. I don't know what Ebay offers you but I have 40 freebies, each with 3 repeats, per months (plus other offers periodically). My process is that I research prices, set a reasonable low end price, use that price as the starting pr...

Re: Hydraulic Clutchs

Geoff,I took the advice of Jon 'the pain not worth the gain'. However I was mainly persuaded by my own argument 'it not as though I hadn't enough to do". I fatalistically put it on evilpay - it went within 2 days $65 - I must have had too little $$$$$ on it  I might look at the pro...
