Re: RD250LC or 350 frame? LC engine? unfinished project? WHY?!
Here we are 1/3 way through '22 and prices of LCs seem to be wavering now as inflation bites at the coat tails of the used bike market... or something... Anyway, I'm still after an LC frame... I probably cant afford someone's half done project if im honest lol If you have one and are not sure you wa...

Re: Salt Two Stroke
I am a huge motard fan, Ive had a few and KTMs are my fave. Ive motarded my XT500 with KTM parts if you recall. You can SM a dirt bike and it will work but the suspension and geo isnt perfect, but it does work and you can have a lot of fun on the road. It will be likely be loud and obnoxious tho, th...

Re: Salt Two Stroke
sounds like its working out well for you. Are you running it in or riding like you stole it? I cant remember what KTMs advice on new bikes was in the old days, but think it was to just ride it and enjoy it

Re: Salt Two Stroke
I have no issue with having an electric foot on a bike, its all good. I will say tho that your RZ had an issue, maybe down on compression or a carb issue, as the RZ is a really easy bike to start and usually fires up quickly. Any more than a few kicks and its broken somewhere... Ive never had one th...

Re: Hi..new member asking for advice.
There is quite a lot of info out there on this and other forums and the net, my own website (if its still up, ive not paid the bill) has a bunch of info about my own 421cc LC with RGV running gear. Have a read around the subject, lots of the questions you ask have been covered. If you were looking f...

Re: Japanese LC alloy finned side panels eg BEET Alfin etc
The problem with 3D printing is that they are inherently floppy with all the slits in them so Ive not progressed that idea, I reckon they would crack when removed. I think thats why these are cast alloy and not plastic originally. They are pretty easy to find on yahoo.jp and other sales sites in Jap...
