Re: marsbar back on the bay

Thing js, not everyone's a collector, not everyone expects their bike to be an "investment" so that they can get most of their money back (how many of us ever do, even with matching numbers - especially if you count your time in labour and parts) and not everyone has the time and skills to...

Re: Carbon Wrapping......

What's the point? The whole idea of carbon fibre is that it's light and strong. If you're just adding a layer of faux carbon you're actually making that bit HEAVIER...just sayin'...

Re: Moto Carrera RD Pipe & Rearset Special!

I see. Sorry about the trauma but good to see you are still involved with smokers.

How involved will you be in the future? Are you setting up a shop again?

Cheers.

It is a pretty decoration to have around, that's for sure! I would have trouble resisting it's charms, so you've obviously got some pretty good willpower there. Cheers.

Re: Hi All

"Brand new, never started". Of course, it's yours, so you can do whatever you want with it, but one day we'll all be dust and at the moment you are getting as much riding enjoyment out of that bike as I am! It's like sharing a photo of your hot wife and saying "never been rooted"...

Re: DG Pipes!

Hmmm. Thanks for the input guys. Lots of opinions. Don't like the quality and performance concerns that seem to be out there about this pipe.

More research required...

Re: Sydney partS Swap Shop!!!!

Ok then.

I need an '85 RZ left hand bar in straight condition.

In trade I can offer a seat which is in original condition - no rips or tears.

Cheers.

Re: How's an rz 350 supposed to run?

Bumpitty.

Do these RZ's have a bit of a vibe between 5 and 6 grand? Mine's smooth everywhere else in the range but I have to push through a vibe at around 5 to 6. Not a huge problem for me but just wondering if that's par for the course.

And when's it gonna stop raining?

Re: Left hand bar for 1985 RZ

Hmm. Mine look they've been through a bingle, and somebody's already had a go at straightening them. I guess I could give it another go.

How about aftermarket? Anything that would fit?

Left hand bar for 1985 RZ

Mine was already a bit bent when I bought it. Probably easier to install a straight one than to try and straighten.
