Re: Crankshaft check Sydney
Dan McBryde in England makes leak test kits for a variety of engines and can also make them to special order: http://pure2strokespirit.net/forums/index.php?topic=2948.msg32402#msg32402 If you want to make part of the kit yourself, Dan may be willing to supply the remaining parts. You can contact him...

Assorted brake and clutch levers
Various Zeta brand pivoting levers: http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y485/JamesP001/DSC04759_zpsgvagpo43.jpg I bought these for another project, but ended up getting something a little less modern looking instead. Consequently, these are now spare. A – Clutch lever with support and auxiliary leve...

Suzuki RG125/200 and Yamaha TZR50 front brake calipers
Suzuki RG125/200 front brake caliper: http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y485/JamesP001/DSC04764_zpszhubkma2.jpg This could be the same as the RGV250 VJ21 and/or VJ22 right-hand caliper, but I’m not sure. 4-piston design, distance between centres of mounting holes is 90mm. Mounting bolt threads are...

Yamaha RZ250/350R front mudguard - SOLD
I think this suits the 1984-1987 models, but not absolutely sure: http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y485/JamesP001/DSC04753_zpsyf0nrtuj.jpg Generally good condition, faded in places, a few small scuffs and scratches, no gouges or cracks. A small patch of paint has come off at the junction of the r...

Yamaha DT200R 3ET magneto set and related parts
I bought these as a job lot for a project about 5 years ago, but never used them. The previous owner told me that they all came off the same bike which was running fine before it was dismantled. I have given the stator coil resistance measurements below, but cannot guarantee that anything works. htt...

NOS OEM 56mm piston rings
All of these rings are new-old-stock “genuine” rings in original packets, to suit nominal 56.0mm bore size. All rings have ends which close over the ring peg (i.e. not underneath the peg). Each packet contains two chrome-faced rings. In each packet, both rings are identical. All rings are of flat/re...

Re: anyone bored out a carb
You could also try a carb from a Suzuki TS250X. Some were 32mm and some were 34mm (I'm not sure which size was fitted to which variant though). Both were "normal" Mikuni TM-style flat-slides (slide at 90 degrees to bore), so that may rule them out if you definitely need an angled bore. The...

Pair RZ250 standard exhausts for sale in Sydney
These aren't mine - I'm putting them up on behalf of a friend Dave, who was having a clear-out and found them in the garage. http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y485/JamesP001/DSC04768_zpsogrqhxdf.jpg The left-hand pipe is stamped 29L-14711, while the right-hand one is 29L-14721. Re: Wire
I've never checked the size of wire in Yamaha looms, but it should be simple enough if you have some scrap pieces (count number of strands, measure diameter of each strand, measure OD of PVC insulation). Years ago, I bought rolls of common solid colours from a firm in Moorebank NSW, which made wirin...
