Re: Fuel & Water Injected 2T Research Paper.

Yeah, they already had the 'Orbital' direct fuel injection, then added direct H2O injection ( both into combustion space), so, sure why not add the extra injector upstream too.. ( & current snowmobiles are doing this, as it happens, O-E..) I guess the DFI H20 means that it likely won't rust the ...

I should add Gavin, that you need to ensure that handlebars are placed at an angle such that
the master cyl' is set at the very top of the brake lines, so allowing any trapped air can make it all the way up..

Re: '86 250 YPVS Restore

Good effort Gavin, she's lookin' beaut.. & here's a tip which I have found works for those annoying post-bleed soft brakes. Wrap a cable tie around the brake lever to the bar, & pull it tight... leave it overnight.. This continuous pressure will force any bubbles back up to the master cyl', ...

"...Like my bike or not..lol." Def' more to like there, than a handful of Hopate's chocolate fingers, that's for sure... Did those bozos who were his 'wide receivers' imagine he was a trained proctologist , & 'keeping his hand in', while playing? & when I played footy, any 'silly b...

& don't mention 'mother-in-law'! Here's a classic gem from Les Dawson.. "Last time I saw my M-in-L, she was lying face down on the beer soaked floor of the local pub, with a 1/2 doz big brutal Hell's Angels - whipping her over real hard, with pool cues... The missus yelled at me, 'Help, hel...

Ye gods, a poor bloody ethnic eastern European A-league player just got rubbed out for 5 weeks... The evil bastard called out another ethnic eastern European A-league player.. ..as a - get this - "Gypsy"... This is, apparently, ( & unbeknownst to the 'offender' - as well as me ) - now ...

Re: Gee I'm Pleased to be Old.

It goes back even further than Orwell, though he was using it in a a now - awfully familiar sense... Lewis Carroll had covered the same essentially corruption/abuse of power scenario with his 'Humpty Dumpty' character. To paraphrase H-D's ( & D.T.) view... "Words mean - whatever I decide th...

Re: Stoner could be set for Ducati test role in 2016.

The Yamaha seems to have the outer fairing skin 'bulged' around longitudinal internal strakes, on the flanks of the machine - but that's quite a change from the 'mustache' type nose fins they were running. I'd heard that the Ducati was now using 'active' exhaust pulse control... for power/fuel use (...

Re: KTMito 380

Might be worth considering converting an ex-lams KTM 390 chassis to 380 2T power.. I 've heard that those Indian built bikes have engine problems - not enough oil carried , so it gets hot, & vaporises, S-F-A gets to the top end, where it fries on the cam, which eats itself - - just like the Hond...

Yeah, I see the Stallone/Snipes/Bullock 'Demolition Man' movie was on free-to-air a couple of nights back.. Not that they'd show the real graphic `70s Stallone/David Carradine movie 'Death Race 2000' though, its too 'offensive' for public viewing these days, esp' after what went down in Melbourne's ...

K & N Product Offerings in 1971!

Reading through an ancient 'Modern Cycle' mag, advertising things like Yamaha's new 'torque induction enduros' ( reed valve trail bikes).. & there's a K & N ad, from way back - when - along with their trick air-filters - they offered MX handlebars, "shatterproof" plastic front mudg...

Re: Stoner could be set for Ducati test role in 2016.

As for that 'Bi-posto' G.P. Ducati, ol' joker Randy Mamola has been doing uber-duty on it for years... I 'd like to see him take a run at Mt Panorama/Bathurst, to show what a Moto GP machine can do against the Mt... If they gave him one of last year's bikes (with the aero-devices) to fang around the...

Re: Stoner could be set for Ducati test role in 2016.

Nah, Casey has been hired to make George a winner, not a whiner... Seriously doubt Honda will allow Dorna to let C.S. actually race though.. Stoner will still enjoy watching Lozenger rub ol' man Rossi's nose in it, though.. ( I wonder what aero-tricks the Audi racing-tech team have provided for Duca...
