rz 350 carb idetification (31w)

G'day. I have been chasing a right side 31k carb body. I've found one on an overseas for sale listing but it has 31w stamped on it. I thought all the early rz 350 had 31k stamped on the carb then they went to 1ua powerjet carbs. Does anyone know if the 31w is the same as 31k?? http://i1357.photobuck...

Re: F/S - 4LO 350LC engine

Seems a good original lc bike is wearth $5-7g. If i owned one i could definatly see the value of a spare complete engine for $700. I've just paid $150 for one crankshaft bearing for a 60's 350. good to have spares. saves ordering and waiting for parts, paying fees and postage. i've shelved over size...

Re: bore or not to bore?

mate it's all about the cylinder measurement. If they are within spec i would hone them and check spec again. If they measure up in regards to piston bore clearance and maximum minimum bore spec then you can buy the pistons and rings and your set. If they measure out of spec then it's a rebore. like...

Re: yamaha yl3 125 racer build

bit more progress. shifter mech, engine seals, pistons and cylinder studs installed. painted the barrells, heads next. After allot of research i have chosen yz125c (1976) clutch friction plates. They are 3.5mm wider in surface area over the Rd125 plates. Also they are thinner by 1mm allowing an extr...

Re: XS1100's

I recently talked with a xs1100 owner at my local motorcylce tyre shop. he said he was considering selling his xs. I asked him what he thought he might get for it. He said around $4g, which i thought was a pretty fair price. his was black, in good original condition. The trye guy may have his number.

Re: To sell or not to sell?

Well i tried to give you food for thought to keep the bike. It sounds like your going to sell. If you want to know what it's worth put it on Ebay with a high reserve and see what people will bid for it. You could put a $7k reserve and find people bid up to $5.5. Then you'll know at that given time p...
