And so it begins - long term RZ Resto story
Per my other thread I and as a result of some encouragement I plan to restore my 1984 Australia delivered RZ that I received as a spares bike when I recently bought a 1986 RZ and a 1999 RGV. The bike basically looked like someone had scavenged a number of bits and left the rest. Key part missing was...

Re: What should I do with an RZ250 rolling frame
No spare engine, when I bought my 1986 RZ and 1999 RGV they came with a 1984 roller as a spare. It looked like someone had basically pulled the engine out and left most of the bike behind. I have started to do an inventory of what is missing and I'll start a separate thread on the rebuild.

Re: What should I do with an RZ250 rolling frame
Having resisted the urge to part it out I have taken delivery of a RZ250 YPVS long motor and will be embarking on a long term resto of the RZ. Ending up being offered 2 for very reasonable prices given how much people were asking for just the bottom end on Fleabay. Strangely I feel a lot better abou...

Re: What should I do with an RZ250 rolling frame

What should I do with an RZ250 rolling frame
I have a naked RZ250 rolling frame which is basically all there bar the engine and seat. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do with it? I am contemplating trying to source and engine (I presume an RZ350, RD250LC and RD350LC engine will also go in without an issue) and seat (already found o...

Hi Guys and Gals Just joined the forum to link in with the local heavy smokers. I have a couple of two strokes in the shed and love nothing more than riding them to work and covering the car driving automatons with oil smoke. In the shed there is a couple of oldies and some more recent fair includin...
