Reckon you're right JonW, lot of shed clearing going on. Still, cautiously I'm a little bit encouraged, if RD's can still be had for sensible money and not the insane bidding frenzy that the UK had a few years ago and which made them a real luxury item.

Doc, easiest way to spot a 250 hub is that the polished bits on the spokes continue down over the body of the hub section, and it's much narrower, tapering down. 350 hub is the kind of cylindrical drum shape you'd have if it contained a drum brake on the chain side.
