Seal on the rhs fouling plugs I should say. lh one never fouls plugs just sucks nice gulps of air,mmm.Also if you chuck tranny fluid in the box you can smell it in the smoke if the centre seals are gone. Link

Hi seals dont usually play up 5 mins 10 mins into a ride unless plug is fouling. Id be looking at battery not charging correctly even overcharging, condensors, or coils etc getting hot and breaking down. Hi Twin rock its a pain in the arse. you normally have to offset bore them or the bottom is too low for the slide to get a good idle. some are not so hard like vm34 mikuni to 35 but id say a wild guess you will struggle to get 30 out of a 28. my rg500 has 31.5 out of 28 flat slides so it does depend...
