banshe 350
banshe 350
will it fit straight in a rzr 250. i suppose i need all the wiring as well.thanks.
Re: banshe 350
Yeah straight in,,but whats wrong with the 250 engine? Wiring wont be hard,,u will removemore from the rz then u have to ad fro. Banshee.. the gear box ratio is alot shorted with the banshee not sure how tht wouldtranslate on road.easiest thing to do is just Bolt bansbee cylinders to rz motor..and jetcarbs to suit.. how ever a standard rz250 makes the same power as a standard banshee 350....
Re: banshe 350
thanks twin rock, wow i see what your saying.my mates got a bottom end thats 10hrs old.ok ill see about the barrels
Re: banshe 350
10yr old bottom end will need crank seals at a minimum and probably a new crank... May as well fix what you have, new cranks from yamaha are about $500 in the USA (see ron ayres, partzilla etc), seals and other stuff are cheap from there too. Anything ordered and under AU$1000 is tax free on entry to Aus. Saves a fortune against shopping here even tho shipping isnt cheap.
Re: banshe 350
its 10 hours old johno, not ten years.but thanks
Re: banshe 350
LOL that'll teach me to speed read LOL!
10 hrs sounds much better buy it and some aftermarket banshee cyls and youre in business... also the 'shee crank is the same as the RZ so if thats all you need, just buy that

Re: banshe 350
Banshee 350 cylinders make less power than RZ250 cylinders?!
Pray tell. Thought that would be an upgrade, not a "downgrade"?
Is banshee top end tuned for midrange rather than top end or something?
Good point about gearing.
Is there an information resource (ideally a comparison) between these motors somewhere?
Have had my eye on banshee motors and parts in the past. Maybe its a more nuanced subject than I realised.

Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.
