oile from left side of engine

Hi, Can any tell me what this shaft is in the attached picture I have circled.
Cleaned it all up to find where I had a oil leak from 24 hours later tracked it down to this area circled in the picture. I'm yet to receive my workshop manual so have little idea what it is?
A newbie to this so all.

Its the clutch pushrod, the seal just presses in and with care could be removed and a new one fitted without splitting the cases AFAIK.

Yep, John is correct... easy cheap fix.
You should be able to slide the pushrod out safely. Check it to make sure it's not overly worn around the seal area.
If it is, you should be able to turn it around and put it in the other way.

Thanks guys just checked online may order a new rod with the seal to be safe.
