Well yes, as I said, 'buy the seller'. :)

Im not saying its useless, but that you wont get a great deal if you dont trust the seller, someone has to trust someone in the deal etc.

So I took the RZ fo anothe ride this weekend with a bit more of the analytical head on instead of the first time sensory overload. So based on my analysis the low speed jet in one of the carbs is blocked. Hopefully that will be an easy fix. Once I get onto the mains runs fine. I am actually looking forward to getting the fairings off and having a poke around under the skin. It does feel like a big 250 I have to say - it will be fun when I get the RZ250 finished (just have to fix the vacum fuel tap) and do a bit of side by side.

The main difference when you fix the low speed stuff is that the 500 doesn't need to be revved that hard to ride normally. Because of that, if you ride it like a 250 you will end up going a lot faster than you think you are.

You can be doing 80-90kph on the 500 if you give it beans in first gear alone.
