RGV250 vj22 Starving for fuel on exit

Post by rgvmad »

Hey .. I just took the old girl out for a blast at Broadford the day went well and I achieved what I went out to do but I noticed an issue on mine and my mates stock machine and also worse on the one with tyga chambers.
On exit of turn 1 rh long corner it had no drive on 1 out of 3 laps and they also done it on the last lh corner onto the straight 1 out of every 4.
On all three..
The floats are checked, set and new.
The fuel was full and the breather is clear.
temp is normal.
The day was Hot 30ish
new plugs and coils checked
fuel filters are clean and new (yes the little socks in the carb )
petrol tank filter is clean
pv are new and clean and working as they should.
Running Battery eliminator in all 3 had no issues before.
feels like fuel issue.

Fuel was fresh.
Any ideas runs great in all other corners and straights

As I had no replies ..I will put what I have found as a symptom and see what people think.
I have found the fuel lines ( in all 3 ) where in the wrong spots being in front of the carbs and not ran behind . Im hoping this simple fix is the issue ,will test at the same track soon and hope its sorted. I think being gravity feed that the lines go to high for flow in the wrong spot while on a lean.
