Yamaha RZ500 Awesome

Post by pkay »

After several false starts I finally bit the bullet and redid the carburettors in the RZ500. And now - what an awesome bike!
Sorry just had to tell someone. Of course once you start you can't stop - I noticed someone had replaced the original fuel tap system with a quick release single hose - so that has to go - found the original set and will need to plumb that in - sold my first and second borns to fund it of course!! Here is a pic for your enjoyment

Nice one. Hang the stock pipes in the shed and put some good chambers on it.
Much more ring a ding ding.

Nice bike and it will probably only cost you about as much to own as your first and second born would have to raise, so I reckon you have come out on top!

The way the prices of these and the RG500's are going, it is probably as well that you got in now, or you may have had to throw in the wife and your left testicle to get one in the future!

Make sure you enjoy it to the full and remember you can't take it with you!

Good to hear it's running well. You'll be looking forward to riding it. Get some k's on that bad boy and report back as to what you think of it. Nice bike mate.
