Al Bundy 350

Post by BRG1200 »

A mate had a calendar up last year with a shortened, powder blue 350LC in it, the bike is a bit of an aesthetic opinion divider, but an interesting take.
I got in touch with the builder last week, accidentally through an ebay advert, and he's an interesting guy with a number of builds of very different types under his belt.

He's also put quite a bit of it on a Google Plus page, type in "Al Bundy 350" for that little diversion.

I got to see Al and the Blue Beauty today. It was a somewhat rushed encounter and didn't get the complete 'tour' but it looks better in the flesh rather than photos - which says a lot.

It was a rushed and wide ranging encounter but it didn't stop us discovering our families were neighbours at Mulgoa and Bathurst working together to explore the Bathurst - Mudgee region 200 years ago. Small world :P .

He made a spoof version of the Tamiya box with a photo of his LC for the box artwork, modded the model to be a model of his full size project, did a few diorama photo's, had some fun with it.
