FOUND! RZ oil tank and LC/RZ carb slide spring

Post by JonW »

FOUND NOW, THANKS!

After a couple of parts for my puzzle of an F2...

Oil Tank - Any RZ oil tank, they are the same for all the years. Yes I know there is one on ebay and that you can still buy them new for not much money, just hoping to recycle one locally rather than do those options. Happy to have one with a snapped off lug if you've been thinking of chucking it out. I repaired the last one I found.

Carb Spring - This is the big spring that acts on the slide when you pull with the throttle. Its same from any LC or RZ, 250 and 350 are the same. Perhaps you have one from a set of carbs that are totally trashed or just a spare in your box of bits that's doing nothing? Happy to take whole boringly shitty 250 carbs if you don't want em taking up room in your shed...

Thanks in advance for any looking in boxes you might end up doing for these :)

Let me check what I have at home. I can't remember if I have an old set of carbs. You can have them if I do.

Don't forget that bots trawl websites, so the views may not be real people. Its OK, we still love you Jon
In case I forget, ping me... I don't get much time to spend on here lately.

Thanks Jeff, appreciate it mate.

Too true on the bots, google et al will bring all sorts of traffic for people looking for the search terms 'oil' coupled with 'slide' now... or perhaps 'tank springs' LOL
