Australian petrol in two strokes

Post by BRG1200 »

Standard RD and RZ 250/350’s
What fuel do you use?
Any diffs noticed with 95 rather than 91?
Or even 98 etc
Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.

I asked a similar question a couple of weeks back D, I have been running my bikes on 98 but am pondering whether to move to 95, so would be keen to hear others experiences

Noticed running Stihl garden tools they run a lot better on 95 than 91, seem to rev cleaner and idle better. Not drawing too many comparisons with our bikes, wouldn’t dream of it😁

I figured 95 might be the practical choice.
