What is the best way to get my stroker fix?

Wait 5 years until my RZ is eligible for historic rego and keep it original?

OK, so I have been trawling the net looking for a way to get my two stroke fix that involves something a little more fun than my FS55RC. I have an RZ500 that is virtually factory fresh except for a few cosmetic issues. I have a fondness for the tuning fork brand. I have a wife, kids and a mortgage. :(

Considering this, what would you do...

Let me put it to you this way:

My project bike has cost me at least AU$20k.
That is with a complete fresh engine, but its still a hell of a lot of money.
I love my bike, but having done it now, I think I would keep the original frame, and update the suspension, wheels, and perhaps bodywork. Sam did a nice bike with these mods and R1 bodywork... it came up real nice, and would be a fraction of the cost of mine.
The only thing I have kept really is the engine and wiring loom. The rest is long gone.

hey fella's i completed a "project" rz 350 and it cost me a ton more than i got for it when i sold it. but it wasnt the destination , it was the journey.
if i had a factory fresh 500 i would not be modding it. if it were a bit of a bunky then it would be open season :D ....my 2c worth...mike
