Hi Guys,
After a short break away from bikes (35 years!) I am now the proud owner of a 5th/85 RZ250R which could best be described as a basket case!
To be precise most of it is contained in a milk crate.
The motor is seized soid so I am chasing a complete one along with a key and ignition switch.
I'm located in Rockhampton.
Cheers,
Bob
RZ250R parts needed
Re: RZ250R parts needed
Hi Bob & welcome back to the crazy 2 stroke daze lol.
You didnt buy this from down Wollongong way did you?
For the cost of buying a running & questionable 2nd hand engine, you could rebuild the current matching numbers one you have for nearly same price.
Ignition & keys can be found on ebay cheap enough.
Only thing I'd really do is buy a 350 top end & bolt that on,if you wanted abit more performance that is.Plenty of info here & on other US forums. If you want a hand pm me.

Hi L.B,
Thanks for that, I purchased an empty 44 today, I plan to soak the motor in kero for a while to see if I can get it apart.
Cheers,
B
