Rgv250 arrow cans

Post by Simplysideways »

Hi all, new member . I was wondering if anybody can help me out . I've just bought a lovely rgv250 with a tyga rear end and a full arrow exhaust system only problem is the cans are falling apart and I need to replace them. Does anyone know where I can get some replacement cans ? If I was to fit non arrow cans , would I have to get a retune ?
Many thanks , great site.
Cheers Ronan :like:

Cans should not be enough on their own to require a re-tune.

What is the bolt pattern on the cans?
TZMike cans are really nice @ US$99 each, which is what I run on both my bikes.

Tyga also do them, but they are more like US$130 each.

This is one of the TZMike cans fitted to my 350LC

Might change them for black ones eventually, but he didn't have any in stock at the time.

Thanks for the reply Hybrid. The cans have a 3 bolt pattern so I figure the tyga or tzmike cans will do , I just need to work out the pitch.

You can buy Tyga cans direct from Tyga and they have the three bolt pattern you might just need to file them out a bit.

I can confirm TZ Mike's exhaust cans are first rate. I've also purchased them in the past. He can do a range of sizes and finishes.

I'll inbox you his email address. I don't think he has a web presence besides the Flickr page.

Cheers, Markus.

Hey Hybrid,
I like the red cans on your RZ, It's a point of difference that stands out against the yellow.

Just email him... he only has the flickr page, not a regular website.
