hi, propose to restore to original... colour especially! i hate the yellow, plan to paint original blue-white combo. started stripping it apart and inspecting it bit by bit now. it came with a ute load of spares including engine parts mufflers wheels and platics. Its had a 1984 tail peice added which will be the first thing swapped out. hopefully i can buy beg or borrow/ steal an 1983 from somewhere.... hint hint. as you can see in last picture.

What city are you in?
I'll have a look around here for you, local wrecker to me has some RG remains, not much though. Mine's an 84, so has same tailpiece as yours. Interesting how they're interchangeable, seen a few mix n match ones about.

Maybe we can help each other out. What are the wreckers like over there?

Looks like you have a really good base for your project from the pics, looking forward to seeing it come along. The seat cowl is a real bonus too !

Cheers

Mr Chap, I've suddenly got a few projects running concurrently, I say running, tbh I'm not doing much to them, just collecting parts until I have more spare time.
My RG list is short, a couple of parts were supplied by helpful chaps on here (good people around here)
the aluminium fairing bracket, top left hand.
the rear seat pad
the little seat pad for the single seat cover
an ignition with key(s) and preferably fuel cap and seat lock (going to get a locksmith to see if he can fix this lot up)
front master cylinder, but I'll get a new generic one

What do you need ? I'll have a look in my local breakers.
