OK well let's liven it up a bit eh
Lets see some specials, not nancy boy stuff either proper man bikes. Like this. The story thus far goes like this.
I get a referal email from Steve at TSS can you help this bloke out?
I speak to the young fella, and he wants to hot up Cagiva Mito.
Weeellllll you can do this this and this and you will probably have 35-38HP on the wheel. But I want more he says, but I don't want to put a 350 engine in the frame as it's been done to death I want something different.
I look around and I spot a unloved KTM 380* engine on the shelf.
A few measurements later I'm confident the 380 will go in without any issues.I contact the young fella he's keen. It's up to me to get it in there.
Bike delivered, I strip it bare, split the engine and put it in the frame. In the mean time got Api post 98 forks, a GP spec RS 125 shock, an SP525 fairing 4 spot brembo's and a modified PWK38 (now at 41.5mm) with power jet.
It should have been the engine that Cagiva put in there, chain allignment is near perfect and lots of rrom for the PV servo, a ram air box and a big 135mm Belly f*^k off pipe
Will have KTM Red Bull colour scheme, hoping to get the dry weight to 100kgs with 65-68HP at the wheel.

Yeah and before you tell methe vibes will break the frame I have a link like the tiebars on RZ/LC's to go on the front mount.

In the Demtel tradition........but wait there's more, there will be the big daddy to this a Katoom 5 hundy in an Aprilia 125 frame, 40ftlbs of torque at 2000 rpm and about 75HP at 6500 and peak torque 60ftlbs but for 1000 rpm. Stay tuned.
PS
* the 380 was one bad mofo of a bike it has massive bottom end grunt with a screaming top end, even expert riders would treat the 380's throttle with a lot of respect

I wonder if its Justin... he had a Mito350.

Lozza, do you know where there is another one of those engines? My brother is building a special based on a XT600 frame, so a single would be good.

I think he would prefer a single 4 stroke, but I can talk him out of it :D

Progress has been stalled recently due to factors out of my hands but that doesn't mean development has halted.
I have been helping a fellow here with his dir track KTM 380 and a fellow in Austria racing in the Swiss Supermoto championship(finished 7th out of 45).
Here is what the Aussir dirt track rider got with his KTM 360 basicaly slightly modded stocker. Would be about 53-55HP on our famously low reading dyno here. You can see the letters CF that is the correction (fudge)factor, which as you can see above 1, ours is set to 0.95 a much more realistic figure.
