"Allow myself to introduce myself"

Post by eddahenry »

Hi my name is Luke and I’m a 2strokeaholic it’s been 11 years since my last hit,
And I have finally relapsed
I live in Sydney and have decided to build up a RZ350, like the one I had on my Ls the 250 frame and 350 motor “i felt like such a rebel” that RZ lasted me 18 months until a incident that involved the Hume Highway at Menagel 140 KLM and a oil pump that died,, Oh and I must say again thanks to the old mate that pulled over with his ute and drove me home, I wonder if people are still that nice 13 years on.
So I’ve decided that I will build a RZ i always wanted
Already have most of the Bigger stuff ill need
RGV VJ22 Front end and swinger
Bandit Wheels
R6 Tank
R6 sub frame and seat

Looking for a
RZ 250 Frame
RZ 350/250 motor parts
RZ350/250 Power valve servo
TZ350/250 swing arm axle

Carnt wait to get here made
GREAT to see a Aus 2stroker forum

Gotta love Austin
my new love
People who buy a RGV250 in 1993 sell me the swinger linkages and front end
And then discover that the linkages have never EVER EVER seen grease in 17 years LOL
now it really shouldnt take a day to remove the needel rollers, and require a blow tourch and cold chisel LOL.
Like the Bushes where completely pitted and rusted
Takes a lot of abuse to pit hardened steel
they joys of building a bike

Lc shocks are rebuildable and done in OZ so one would think Rz are to.

Agree earlier Rgv swinger looks best.

Just a little info on rgv shocks, I deal with rgv's every second day and without a doubt the shocks(and forks) are universaly SHIT. The post 98 Aprilia Sachs shock is big step up from the pogo stick RGV shock.
IMO for all the f*^king round to put this shock in you can spend $600 and buy a Nitron shock from the UK which will be light years ahead of even a recently rebuilt RGV shock.
