I've got one of the original ones, 1st series. Owned it since new. Has done just over 6,000kms since new and has been in storage since about 1990. Looks great but hasn't been fired up in more than 20 years... will probably need a tear-down and checkup at the very least.

Might register it on historic plates when I get a chance to sort it out.

Blimey, not sure I could leave a working bike in storage!
Must be a nice time capsule

I don't know what it is with RG's, keep seeing ads for two or three at a time in bits, just missed three for $600 last weekend. Good job in a way, the wife would have killed me.

I remembered riding a GF250 back in the day, circa 92.

So much like an RG250 in chassis. Never see them anymore. I'll bet they have a lot of common parts though.

I own two RG250's. An 84 and an 87, some parts are interchangeable which is good as I would like to do them up as a P6 road racing bikes. Any tips on getting some spares would be greatly appreciated, Jim

I have been buying bits n bobs for a couple of years now. Lol I think I have enough bits to make 1 complete bike. They don't pop up as complete too often...
