Craig and his brother have been around for a lot of years and I have never heard a bad thing about them. They rebored my AS3 last year and it was fine. Craig also build and raced his own RS250 Honda and won a heap of Australian titles back in the day.

Thanks EPApolice. That is the kind of info I need, good or bad. Word of mouth is the very best advertisement you can get.

Well yes and no... the job was fine and the bike runs ok, but their attitude was a bit hit n miss. I went in and the guy ambles over and I ask about rebores and he says 'yeah just leave the cyls/pistons over there...' then he picks em up and puts em with a bunch of others over by the boring machine. No obvious name on em, or job number. A bit galling as Id only just tracked down RZ350 cyls at great expense. Got no paperwork to say they had taken em in either until I asked for some. A week or so later i picked em up fine and all was well, but it felt very wrong and they werent chatty either to make me feel that they were on it, but that could have been the day etc.

Anyway, all that aside, the boring job seems good. Pistons were measured and handed Lft/Right to the bores, which is how it should be. The bike started 3rd kick or something like that and I saw no damage to anything.

I do need another set done now, and I really wanted to try someone new this time round, but it seems there are few guys out there in Sydney who can do this work.

I used them a couple of time to service a bike or 2, when they were at Granville.
Had my Ol Bitza 350LC run over by them to make sure everything was OK after I pieced her together and never had any problems.
Like Jon though I did notice they had a somewhat "relaxed: attitude in dealing with customers but......, price was right and bike was ready when they said :-)

Thanks, all good info to know about. I am a little reluctant to use them. Be nice to know if there is some others about.

I use crs Darwin. Even did a same day rebuild after it arrived from Sydney.

4t cylinders I use west end performance in Campbeltown ( car shop)
I used to use Amex solution in Minto for my 2t stuff but he has. Moved on into different areas and only works from home now. Pm for his mobile. There is a machine shop in eltoro estate Liverpool that does 2t cylinders also. Last time I was in they had a kx 500 cyl...
It is little bit of running around but that's networking correct?...
