hi does anyone know if vj22 are eligible for period 6 racing as i am hearing heaps of different stories and have my old race one gathering dust with spares etc i may as well sell. Link

I have again been told these are eligible for period 6 . Does anyone have a log book for one. The new MA rule 20 seems to allow non modified vj22. Thanks Link

Rule 20 is something started by the geniuses in Perth. Still doesn't change VJ22 is a 91 model as designated by Suzuki, therefore not allowed for Pre90 /P6 competition

ok so can i run a rg500 engine in a vj21 rolling chassis for period 6 . or does anyone who has raced 1990 bikes know of a better frame, tz is a bit hard to get also.I have not really seen period 6 in vic yet but sure they will come in the next few years so i am trying to decide if this is a class i want to run in. I have a spare rg engine but have rg frames also which is a lot easier than rgv hybrid with just suspension mods. whats the thoughts guys. Thanks Link

Would be no issue but there is nothing wrong with the RG frame. Damien Mackie from NZ won 3 from 4 races at the Barry Sheene meeting on a RG 500

ok I have a yellow vj22 in shell advance series stickers still and it did very well. not raced since the mid nineties with a spare good engine for sale to someone who will race it. pm. Link o418383958
