OK now that I have got your attention, there is an ad on ebay for full bike which includes a tank that at first looks sems ok. The whole bike is currently $450 so you also get an engine seat wheels and pipes and frame with your tank but no airbox by the looks of it - Bargain.

The fine print also says they have an RZ fibreglass tank (with a race bike) and a 350LC for sale as well.

Yeah its a roughie tho, but it is cheap... not easy to get to unless youre in vic tho :/

looks like an incomplete nail though, at least one shaft missing from the motor, "bullet" hole in the tank? No rad, carb tops, airbox etc.
seat and tailpiece are from an RZ.
These ads always baffle me, its whats mentioned in the small print thats interesting.

if any of you lot get it, i can pick it up for you and give you a hand to sort out freight/delivery etc, it's only down the road from my place. I need an engine, but i haven't the dosh, so its a waiting game for me until i find one.

Yeah, they've come up nicely from what was sent to me, the tank has been given a coat of redkote on the inside etc. the decals are from norbo cleared over the top etc, usual stuff.

I've managed to get a hold of a tank for my bike, its a bit sad on the inside, quite some cutting and welding to do. Or I could goop it and go down the fibreglass tank route... Which is a lot of work...
