Newbie in Mildura

Post by TheDon-07 »

Hi everybody,
I'm new to the site. I have an RD350LC in excellent condition, I'm restoring an RD400D at the moment and am considering getting another RZ500 as I regret selling the one I used to have. I also have an FJ1200 and a new Triumph T'bird which I realise are of little interest here.
On with the show!

I like Triumphs
Thats it, I'm out of the closet!
Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.

I'd love to post some pics, but it would seem that they are too large except for the following one.

Yes, and I got them to clearcoat over the decals. The whole job was done in two-pack.

I like Mildura for many reasons, seems we may have another reason for a visit.

Actually... all joking aside about paintwork, I know about 5 of us who want paint done now and no one in Sydney is the right quality/price, although I havent been and asked about what discount we would get for doing say 5-10 bikes at Collideascope, which could be a possibility as they did stunning work on my XT... hmm... Anyway, assuming we were all ready and wanted something done, we might organise something interstate at Ace of Sprays or perhaps Mildura, might have to ship a pallet of bodywork if we do that LOL

I will start a thread about paintwork...

The job was good and $800 but I don't think that it was better than anywhere else.
