Hi all, have unexpectedly inherited 2 of S1 250's from my late brother. Intend to do them both up (especially one which has matching engine number and frame number of only 3 digits) and keep 1 sell 1. Just started so will take a while as finances permit. No doubt I will need the Brain Trusts from this site for for things like best place to get the cranks done (I'm in northern NSW), where to buy engine gasket kits and what brands are OK etc etc. They are in poor condition as can be seen in the photos but I have the time. Catch you later.

Hope it goes well, sorry about the circumstances that started your projects, but I guess it will be easy to motivate yourself to do a great job on them.

The tinware in the photo looks like S2 stuff not S1, so you may also need to add that to your shopping list!

I hear good things about the work done on Kawa triple engines by Neville Lush in Victor Harbor SA, so you might want to give a him a call, once you are thinking about rebuilding the engines.

Visited Neville Lush a couple of months sgo, seems like an honest dude. Better to deal with in person than over phone.

Might as well make a 350/400 out of it, since unlike the Yamaha RD 250/400 where the 400 is a overbored & stroked 250,
- the Kawasaki 250 triple is an underbored 350/400.
