NSR250 WANTED!

2 stroke fan here. Recently sold my 125cc and looking to buy a 250.

seeking NSR250 but not getting much luck...

What model are you after and what price range are you looking in?

Somewhere around 3k would be great.

Open to models, the more modern the better.

There was a 400 for just over 4k recently, needed a clean up though. For 3k you would no doubt get a nice TZR, perhaps pre 3XV,. Getting a late NSR250, you might get it for 4k but I would estimate closer to 5k for a neat one, unless you find the rare person who hasn't a clue what he has for sale or just needs quick cash.

Yes I would agree that $3K is optimistic for anything other than something you are going to have to spend a bit of money on. I have an MC21 with an MC28 rear fairing that is in very good order with new tyres and new battery. Only 11,000 km but I would be asking high $4k to sell it with the spares sold separately (a couple of PGM' 3's and a pile of other bits that I will sell if I sell the old girl).

There were maybe 6 or more NSR250 up on gumtree about a month or so ago but they have all disappeared. I did see one early one for 3500, but all others looked like really well looked after bikes all well over the 4K mark. Good luck on your search. Maybe if you have the time to wait something will come up. You'd get an RGV for 3, or even a NSR150. this is the link to the 3500 one.
