yamaha flat extender from OEM yamaha tool kit

Post by JonW »

Im after the final piece to complete my LC tool kit, its the one circled and I believe is used to slide over the large hex spanner to extend its reach for more leverage, the PO of my kit seems to have lost mine... :(

Id be really grateful if you could look in your toolboxes, Im sure someone must have one, they were in kits from bikes from the 70s til 00s I think.

Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.

Do you want one or all four

(Although I'm not 100% sure these are exact copies - they seem a little shorter - 120mm) .

I'll keep looking 8O .

I have a bucket full of OEM tools that have never touched a bike (I have standards you know  ) but I didn't have the heart to throw out (its a disease  you know).

Now its a case of finding them when I want them :P .

Im the same, I actually have never used an OEM tool but 'for completeness' felt the need to have the full set for my resto LC. The set I have came from Canada for next to nowt and even had the original string 'shoe lace', but was missing that part, weird, I reckon the PO dropped the set and it pinged off under his bench one day. LOL!
