I'm puzzled, my inner anorak has failed me.
Both look "a bit neglected" and the engine cradle and rear brake on the buggy look rather RZ.

With no seat I wouldn't be very comfortable.

With no tank I wouldn't ride very far.

With no brakes I wouldn't ride hard.

Other than that it fine :D .

This is an ancient race between time and rust - and rust is winning.

Come on Gman, the suspenders is killing me!
Still can't believe some savage chopped up an RZ to make that buggy.

The rz's power valve control/pulley is on the kick start side instead of the gear change side. Yes the buggy racer has the botom of an rz frame mounted at the back to harness a 31k 350 engine. I was offered the buggy, said i would be interested if he re aquired the engine that once lived in it. Told me it was 1/2 mile up the road at his neighbours place. My offer still stands. More.photo's and details to follow.

The PV is a dual setup tho isnt it? So 'as well as' not 'instead of' yes?

I also like the buggy, looks well made, but expect its quite heavy :/

Old mate i bought this bike from replaced all 4 power valve bushes with enclosed bearings, turning down the power valve end to fit the inner race. Why he did it i don't know but they turn in the cylinder beautifully with no slop. . I have had to replace worn valve bushes before and they ain't cheap, I'm yet to go back to invesrigate why he moved the control to the kit start side?
