These were the biggest of the Tygas I could find Lozza, are these the ones you mean?

You sure about the carbon Jon? I thought Carbon was lighter but Aluminium was quieter.

I dont have any empirical evidence but I read it somewhere, where they said it absorbed the pressure wave rather than bouncing it, but ive no real proof... happy to learn more of course :)

Thats them. Like carbon pushie frames they are actualy stiffer but absorb the bumps better.

I take it you fellas whingeing 'bout loud H-D's were havin' a bit of a lend..

After all, its not like most non-stock 2T's are actually anywhere near 'Honda' quiet.

Here's a tip, if you have a compliance issue - & still have some shitty old factory stamped
pipes, cut out the factory stamped compliance codes & attach 'em skilfully to your pipes.
Point 'em out to the copper.. "You can read, can't ya.. see, they're factory bloody ADR stock!"

Or, if you get a ticket stating you must present to the EPA for a compliance check,
ride your mint/resto stocker down there ( with the rego plate which got the ticket)..

Its a bit of a laugh when the inspector says..
"But jeeze, that's bloody factory standard - ok, she's right, on your way.."
