Satin. If you look at my build threads on my site you can see how I used line tape (6mm i think) which saves a bunch of time:

Was on ebay from a mob in Vic i think, some kind of pro painters supplier place. They also sell general masking tape, which always comes in handy... tho Aldi have some this week i think too. :)

While I'm on the subject of painting as my bloody fingers need a break from cleaning these rims what a job.

What are others doing for painting the exhaust as I had dents fixed up and the exhausts are needing to be painted
the flat looks too flat but gloss would not be right either???

haha, well yes... everytime I post about rims I mention the work involved, but few seem to appreciate it until they do it :)

you can paint the pipes with any of the high temp paints designed for exhausts or even have them ceramic coated but next time round Im trying KBS's exhaust product, might be worth a look?

Yeah on the weekend I was so over them I would of spent 3 sold days on these so far. Starting to look good now but no where near finished front rims edges & spokes done & one side of the rear.

I admire your persistence, all power to you Rob. :)

I use a balancer and some power tools but still end up with wet n dry and polish in the end. Its rewarding when done...
