Tanks - You think an RD250LC is Bad

Post by pkay »

Try finding a Kawasaki GPX750 tank.........

Apparently Kawasaki added rust as a no cost option as part of the pre-delivery!

I feel your pain, but with a Yamaha flavour
Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.

I often wonder where all the GPX's that were a common sight in the early 90's went, your more likely to see a GPZ900R than a 750/900 GPX on the street today.

They're all sitting in people's garage's with rusted out tanks!
I think a lot must have ended up on the track as well.

Kawasaki has a reputation for failure. You might as well buy a Mitsubishi IMHO.

Is that an Australian thing? The rules applied to everyone else arent applied to Harleys?

It's a relativity thing, a bit hard to explain, never mind. Look over there, it's a really big plane, I think it's called an Antino.. or something similar. :)

FWIW, I was tempted by the 'Final Edition' Evo that Mitsubishi is running out at the mo, no hint of an emissions scandal on one of those since buyers are not under any illusions hwne buying one of those, but its a very 'old car' now so I went elsewhere.

And yes maybe its a NSW thing, but cops and noisey Harleys are a thing here, it seems that harley managed to sneak OEM pipes into aus that are like heavy machine guns, get the 'rolling thunder' going past your house late at night and you wont forget it in hurry :/
