As the title says. I suspect it's local knowledge that these rubber headlight seals / covers are no longer available but thought I'd put it out there. Was hoping some entrepreneurial enthusiast might have found a way to make a mould.
Any links or info grately appreciated.

Rubber breaks down, mine's pooped, split right through.
Could do with one also (down the track).

Part number 51L-84196-01
All the usual sites have nil stock. I can find one in Germany for $150, but suspect it's because they haven't updated their stock.
Stories around the global forums of owners buying up to 10 at a time to stockpile and sell to their mates. Google tells me a well known forum member used a NOS one recently for his F1 rebuild. :) I'm looking into getting some made but I would need a pattern from the original.

LB, no, I wouldn't be doing them myself. There are some new techniques for rubber moulds since these came out in the 80s. I would need to get a 3d image first, which would need a good template which I haven't got.

Just thought I'd update this one. I found a company who can do me a 3D mould and then rubber copies of this headlight cover. Thought I'd check with Norbo before placing the order. He advises that he has some made and waiting to be shipped to the uk. There's a hold up with some other items that are being shipped with them. Expect delivery in about a month.

The other items were the dash above the clocks which I've also been looking for. Be a nice Xmas present. We should do a bulk purchase and save on post.

That is good news. I was going to lend you my oem nos rubber as a template.
Now is anyone redoing the rubber surrounds for the gauges? Mine have melted.....

Mine have also deformed and it looks like a child has tried to glue it back on with bitumen. Will update here if I find a source.

Quick update on this. Seems they are no closer to landing. Not much detail given. I found somewhere to get them made but does this offside Norbo if I try to sell them to recoup some of the outlay?

Its worth knowing if it can be done, but if Norbo's are reasonable cost and decent quality its probably simpler all round.
