Green on a Yamaha?
Everybody likes pictures
So I seen this picture today and thought it was a unique take on Yamaha Decals, take away the freaky Jap spec fairing and duck tail and replace it with the traditional ones - What do you think, Should green be seen on a Yamaha?
All for it-
Or
Over my dead body-
For reference -
We have seen these before.
Here is a color I have never seen before, what do you think?
And just so you know, the latest Cafe Racer styles out of Japan-
2 of the best looking rear ends ever
And Brian, my mate for a day while working in a customers house!

Re: Green on a Yamaha?
The first one would look better crashed. The second one is kinda sexy - shame about the colour. And the third one reminds me of a Splice ice cream.
No, don't go green GMU.
Brian looks like fun. It's not everyday you get to meet a tiny pink elephant.

Ged,
They say 'dont eat the green ones' for a reason...

Re: Green on a Yamaha?
AFAIR, Yamahas of the `70s, such as the XS 650, RD 350/400 were available for certain years,
as new showroom stock in factory applied green colour schemes,
& I def' recall owning just such a dark metallic green RD 350..
& weren't TZR/TDR 250s sold with green as a major part of their multi-colour schemes..
Poo brown - such as Honda seemed to like, was much worse...

Re: Green on a Yamaha?
Two questions:
Are there any more photo's or a website of the "gold and cola" bike?
Quite apart from the colour scheme, it looked to have some form of TZ reverse cylinder arrangement, very interesting.
And the nice heiney - who's is that? Couldn't care less about the car, but "Nice Buns"! ;-)

Green... no.
Gold/cola though.. I'm a fan.
Pretty sure I have seen full pics of that bike before. The reverse cylinder setup is familiar.
