Not running ratty ones about $9,000.

Pristine ones about $15,000 to $20,000 if you can find someone who will sell theirs.

I wouldn't sell mine either. They're just too hard to get now. I'm even considering keeping a couple of RG400s which I was planning on selling. They are actually quite a nice substitute (basically identical, less about 30hp), and you can take them out to 500cc for around $3k if you get the barrels re-sleeved via Karl at RG500.COM

$27k? Do you own that 0km one that was on eBay last year?

Cheers, Markus.

No, it's a genuine 5000Km Australian model with FULL service history, original manual/warranty book, every pink slip and rego since new, all change of ownership receipts etc.

My RG500's are my retirement fund!

My 500 is in parts and ratty, has 32,000km on it but I wouldn't part with it. Have 2x400 grey imports and know of another with papers from N.Z. which I might now chase up to make two legals and one to stuff with as one of mine has no papers and needs engeneering for N.S.W rego so what the hell I have lots of RGV front and rear ends and an old pommie who can make things fit real pretty. If it doesn make rego it will make a scary track bike with no restrictions on pipes and intakes, who said anything about a third childhood after 50.Scrubber

What a crock of shit that bike has been on ebay 3 times and each time it's doubled in price. After the money changes hands you don't own it anymore, therefore your emotional attachment should end. Especialy for a bike that has never been (or will ever be)ridden.
