WTB Mirrors, (have swaps)

Post by jools »

I'm looking for Mirrors for my good mate Jacko's RZ (R model I think) that he's bringing back to life.
The mirrors fit through the fairing, know the ones? Hopefully we can get the rubbers as well.
The mirror glass is not so much a problem, we can replace that if broken.
He's got it running nicely, and it's very original and almost (mirrors) complete.
Anyone help?
Jacko's got another one too, an earlier model. I'm hassling him to pass it on to a good home (like mine), as long as he can fit an electric thumb to it.

They're so easy to kickstart why fit an electric start?
(not sure it's even possible/practicable)

This place certainly has enough people who know all the models.
Ex UK, now in Adelaide. LC250/350. DT175. Shed full of sh1t in the vague form of dismantled rusty RD’s and RZ’s.

Just having a Laugh mate, - I have a hip that's suffering from too many years kicking over Velocettes and Desmo Ducatis!

The mirrors are silly hard to find new now but aftermarkets are cheap and come with the rubber bellows. the fairing big grommets are still available from yamaha if youre looking for them.

LOL e-start... Id like to find a retro kit for my XT500 with hi comp piston tho...
