Hi Jon, with lengthy redirection and retraining workwise, and the extraordinary expense and time consumption of bringing up kids I have very little to nil progress to show.
What I have done is put the LC Mr James sold me into Pitmans (good old school Adelaide dealership) to get it as far as necessary to get an SA plate on it and “just” roadworthy.
I’ll speak highly og young Louis Pitman, who is a top geezer and a proper two stroke enthusiast.
Will update as and when things happen, have been thinking of it.

When that bike comes back, it’s a 350 motor in a 250LC, I will thrash it round the hills over here.

BTW, cheers Peter, after cleaning out the carbs and a bit of fiddling that bike fired up to a happy burble!

Had the frame straightened, as they all need.
Brakes getting seen to next.
Getting some old school looking tyres on it. Looking forward to seeing that ridiculously skinny tyre on the back

Wouldn’t surprise me, he’s part of the 2stroke racing scene and has restored a couple of LC’s through the shop in the last year.
